There is nothing more important then the safety of your family, which is why I am so excited to tell you about First Alert! First Alert is one of the most recognized names in home safety. I received three smoke/carbon monoxide detectors and three fire extinguishers. The detectors are easy to install and come with batteries so it is ready to go. I am going to place one in my living room, one in my hall way, and one in my family room. I am also going to place the fire extinguishers around the house so no matter where the trouble may be we can get to them in an instant. I really think it would be smart to have one in each room and I am sure gong to work on that. I love the fire extinguishers, they are not the sort you would think of with the long hose and heavy can.These are super portable they can put out grease, fabric, trash or electric fires, I have an old house and I have to tell you that this is giving me some peace of mind.
If I had an elderly parent or loved one, someone that was disabled or handicapped and I knew they could not move so fast, I would be sure that they would be protected as much as possible. Per the US Fire Administration/FEMA (http://www.usfa.fema.gov/citizens/home_fire_prev/ )3,500 people die in house fires, 1000 of them are elderly and 170 people die due to carbon monoxide in the United States each year.Those statistics are staggering, you need a plan, you need protection and you need it now. So it doesn't matter if you need ladders to get you out of the second floor or you need the earliest warning system possible First Alert is the place you want to visit to get all your safety needs.
