Alison Levys' sound is a mix of rock and folk music. I am truly amazed at the array of kids music available and this new genre (new to me), kindie, which is geared for children 2 to 8 years old but I have to say that I love this music. It is so refreshing to listen to happy music without cussing, screaming and violence. Some of todays music just gives me a headache. I seldom turn on the radio at all anymore opting to listen to my extensive and private collection.
I love how World of Wonder explores the world of small children, butterflies, rain and detours in a perspective that most of us as adults forget about as we automatically move through our day. I listened to her music and found myself daydreaming of how it was when I was a girl and could sit and watch rain trickle down a window for hours. It is rare to find artists that can reach out and touch the hearts and imagination
of people no matter how young or old they are. This music World of Wonder is great for people of any age.
