I read today in the Washington Post this News Alert: U.S. poverty rate rises to 15.1 percent, number of uninsured Americans hits record high. What I want to know is...if we are suffering so much then why is our country sending Billions of dollars to other countries? If we can afford to take care of the world we can afford to take care of ourselves first.

A piece of my mind
I read today in the Washington Post this News Alert: U.S. poverty rate rises to 15.1 percent, number of uninsured Americans hits record high. What I want to know is...if we are suffering so much then why is our country sending Billions of dollars to other countries? If we can afford to take care of the world we can afford to take care of ourselves first.
