I used to buy whatever cat food was affordable for me at the time. This meant that not only was I not purchasing the same thing all the time, but the ingredients were not the best either. I always wondered why the cats stools were so messy and smelly. It was because I was upsetting their digestive tracks. Not only that but there are dyes in some foods that can be really harmful to your pets, especially male cats.
When I learned that the better the ingredients = more healthy pets, I started buying foods that were more healthy for my pets. What blew me away was the fact that they use more of the foods so they get rid of less. This means a more compact ... you know waste, and it doesn't smell as bad either!
Why I love Newman's Own Organic cat food first is because my cats love it, I don't know if you can see but as soon as I opened the box the cats smelled it and were instantly there. Also because it is organic, it's free of added hormones, antibiotics and added chemicals. They preserve it with Vitamin E nor do they add dyes or flavor enhancers. It's a completely balanced meal for your cat and it has NO corn or wheat which is a real plus. A lot of brands use these grains as fillers and they are NOT good for your pets. I also love that the Omega fatty acids in Newman's Own Organic pet food promotes healthy skin and coats. It has Antioxidents which naturally helps their immune systems. Plus it has probiotics (good microorganisms) that helps keep their intestines healthy. The crunchy kibble (dry food) helps keep their teeth clean!
I give my cats wet food at least twice a week because in nature they are not going to be eating kibble they are going to be eating meats and for the most part that is soft. Newman's Own Organic wet foods are organic, they are formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by AAFCO for cats of all ages.
