Rock N Learn Letter sounds
I grew up with School House Rock I remember it being a fun cartoon that taught me short stories and songs that I was able to remember. What I did not realize when I was young was I was learning through them. The stories were always something I looked forward to seeing, and a fond memory for me still. Rock N Learn has picked up on that concept and taken it to new levels. You don't have to wait for Saturday morning cartoons to enjoy these musical lessons all you have to do is plug one in.The great part about this type of lesson plan is the kids think they are playing while you know they are learning. You can start with preschool and kindergarten lessons like colors and shapes, nursery rhymes and alphabets. But it doesn't stop there they also have phonics, science, math and more. If that wasn't enough they offer free study materials for parents, teachers or anyone that needs them. Not only does Rock n Learn have a productive and attractive array of lessons they offer the lessons in a variety of packages, CD, DVD and CD with Book sets. I struggled as a student and I sure wish I had these to help me when I was little.
I was given Letter Sounds to review, a variety of characters sang and danced encouraging the listener to sing along with them. In Letter sounds there is the upper case and lower case letters, an example of something that starts with the letter and a mouth showing you how to sound out the letter. My personal favorite was the game Name that letter. This DVD has a lot of interactive activities so the child is included and not just watching the video. My rating is Straight A's!

If you have a little one starting out or a child that is struggling in school but you can not afford a private tutor, Rock n Learn may be the answer for you. I encourage you to take a look and check out the learning aids here. I have been authorized to offer you a 25% discount at check out by using  code: JQ7711.

Disclaimer I did receive a complimentary DVD so I could review it. Even so I would not say I liked something if I did not. All opinions are my own.
