In Like A Lion Out Like A Lamb

We can only hope and pray that this saying is true because March came crashing in with violent storms that created almost 100 tornadoes.

Tornadoes that brought death and destruction through the central and southern United States. The tornadoes touched down in Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia. Leaving hundreds injured and at least 53 dead since Friday. A baby girl was found  in a field in Indiana, the rest of her family (both parents and 2 siblings) were killed, she is in critical condition.

The Weather Channel reported at least 99 tornadoes that spread all along the central and southern states. Rescue attempts are underway through all of the affected states..

Why are we having so many tornadoes? It's because of the temperature changes, it is normally pretty cold this time of year and with the rapid changes between the warm and cold air it always means trouble along tornado alley. Lets hope this is not a sign for the coming tornado season. I always have an uneasy feeling during the summer months when they are more prevalent in our area. These bad storms are really early this year.

We noticed today that even though it was 45 degrees F out there it seemed warm and sunny and we did not wear coats.

My prayers are with the people in these ravaged areas.
