Kidlandia Kreechur Review and Giveaway!

This is my Kidlandia Kreechur. He lives 30 to 40 years and eats mosquitoes, nuts and berries! Flapper is just one of the many cute Kreechurs available to play with on Kidlandia.com. A little about Kidlandia:
Kidlandia provides kids and families a way to imagine, create, and rule their own world in a safe and educational environment. Kidlandia combines our own lovable Kreechurs with a proprietary personalization platform that allow Kids to RULE wherever they like to play.
Whether a child wants an online game, a mobile app, a plush doll, or a printed Kingdom on their wall, Kidlandia has a solution. This unique model fulfills a child's powerful need to feel a measure of control over the world around them, and fulfills a parent’s need to provide a fun and educational experience that empowers their child without putting them at risk.
Founded in 2008 by entrepreneur and artist Brian Backus, Kidlandia grew out of Brian’s concept to create personalized maps of fanciful kingdoms for children’s rooms. He believed that, by providing children with their own kingdoms with friendly monsters as companions, kids would gain an increased sense of confidence, control and self-worth. Today, Kidlandia offers more than 100 products to choose from and personalize including a rich online game, mobile apps, and products like posters, blankets, and more. Kidlandia is comprised of a talented team of engineers, designers and business professionals. The Kidlandia Kids and Kreechurs Foundation will support the passion of bringing delight and meaning to the lives of children and families by donating 2.5% of founding stock to charitable organizations benefiting children.
Safety
Your child’s safety is extremely important to us. We offer some restricted social networking features on Kidlandia and we take these features very seriously. Here is what we do:
  • After we receive a request from you or your child to register, we send you an email asking for your consent. If you give your consent, your child will be able to invite friends to his or her Kingdom (only after you give your consent for each child invited), and communicate with friends and family in their network through features like the "Messages Window". Of the messages in the Message Window, only the last message that has been received is visible to the child.
  • If your child asks to invite another friend to their Kingdom, we send you an email asking you to approve it, and we send the invitee’s parent an email and ask them to approve it. If either party does not give consent after a reasonable amount of time, we delete the invitation request.
We have a Parent Dashboard where you can see the children that are associated with your account. To access the Parent Dashboard, please refer back to the email that was sent to you as part of the account creation. Your username is your email address. Your password was part of that original email. If you cannot find your password, fear not, you can reset it and have a new one sent to you.
Your Kreechur comes with a code that unlocks a treasure in the world of Kidlandia. You and your child can build the land and play games together. I found it to be to be a lot of fun. They even have their own version of Angry Birds! I love that I have a little Kreechur that I can play with off line as well as online! The creative people of Kidlandia would like to give one of my readers a Kreechur of their own!
