What Other Blogs Do:

I went blog hopping today ,I know you're thinking Kim...what's blog hopping. Well as you know we are trying to build up this blog and get as many readers as possible. One of the tools other bloggers use is called a linky, I know another term right, a linky is where you list different activities on your blog like giveaways, your facebook fan page and your blog itself. Other bloggers who are also looking for more viewers will also list their blogs and then we all click on all the links and go to the other blogs, follow them and ask them to follow us back. This is blog hopping!

Well, in my adventures of hopping about playing blog tag, I found some pretty sweet ideas and I wanted to share them with you! This one is from Little Notebook at :http://littlenotebookblog.blogspot.com/

It is such a fun and simple idea but very cool also! Thanks Little Notebook for sharing your project!!

The picture is terrible quality thanks to my iPod Touch camera but the banner turned out really cute! We found some leaves outside, painted them with Crayola washable paint and pressed them onto colored construction paper. Then we cut them out and clothes-pinned them onto the string and voila, we had a cute new fall decoration. We are planning to make one for each season/holiday from now on. They are super inexpensive to make but so cute & festive!! We had a blast making it. One of the things I love most about these banners is that you can remove the current decorations from the string and put them in (for example) a large gallon sized baggie to protect them from moisture until next year and keep reusing the string & clothespins for the other holidays.

How is this for a Fall Flavor! I found this on On Welcome to the Motherhood's blog!
It's a Pumpkin face scrub. Who knew that having beautiful skin could be so yummy in the process!
Pumpkin Scrub
1/2 cup Pureed Pumpkin
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp Honey

I have to tell you that I don't know if I want to smear it on my face or eat it! But I can say that I will be trying this one with my daughter when it comes time to make the pumpkin pies!
